Electricity Lab
Build circuits that actually light up โ a free, hands-on browser electricity simulation from ScoutQuest.
Overview
Electricity Lab is a free, browser-based science simulation where you wire up real circuits and watch them light up. Drag in batteries, bulbs, switches, and wires, then connect them to see current flow and lamps glow. It is a hands-on sandbox for learning how electricity works through experimentation rather than reading.
The problem
Electricity and circuits are abstract and hard to grasp from textbooks alone, with no safe, hands-on way to experiment.
How it works
You drag circuit components onto the canvas and connect them with wires; the simulation models the current in real time, lighting up bulbs when the circuit is complete.
Use cases
- Students experimenting with series and parallel circuits at home
- Teachers demonstrating how batteries, switches, and bulbs work in class
- Curious learners exploring electricity safely without physical parts
