- We will remove illegal content (including military or scientific secrets, or anything similar) immediately when we learn of it.
- We can suspend, restrict, require extra verification from, or close accounts used for spam, scams, fraud, impersonation, or bots/automated abuse — or for any violation of these terms.
- These terms will changeas we build out security and the platform grows. When they do, we'll ask you to agree again.
The full terms below control. The summary is just a guide.
1. What AiBookmark is
AiBookmark is a community-only platform and online directory where members can:
- create a profile;
- post, list, and showcase AI tools, projects, and resources;
- view and discover tools, builders, and other members;
- communicate with one another; and
- link out to external websites, downloads, and resources.
Like any community platform, AiBookmark is a venue— a place for members to publish and find content. We are an intermediary, not a publisher, author, vendor, or guarantor of any content, tool, or interaction on the Service. Content posted by members is the responsibility of the members who post it, not of AiBookmark.
This reflects the role Congress gave to interactive computer services under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (47 U.S.C. § 230): we are not the “publisher or speaker” of content provided by our members.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By checking the box and creating a profile — and by continuing to use AiBookmark — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Disclaimer and these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not create a profile and do not use the Service. You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction (or have verifiable parent/guardian consent) to use AiBookmark.
3. “As is” — no warranties
AiBookmark, and everything available through it, is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, security, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service, or any tool, link, file, or content found through it, will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, free of viruses or harmful components, accurate, complete, or fit for any purpose.
4. Assumption of risk — you use AiBookmark at your own risk
Your use of AiBookmark is at your sole risk. This includes, without limitation:
- the platform itself being hacked, breached, attacked, or compromised;
- viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
- downtime, data loss, bugs, or other technical issues; and
- any other problem, loss, or damage arising from your use of the Service.
You are responsible for protecting your own systems, accounts, devices, and data — including using up-to-date security software, backing up your data, and exercising your own judgment before relying on, contacting, downloading, or installing anything you find here. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AiBookmark is not liable for any of the above.
5. Member content — your posts, your responsibility
You are solely responsiblefor any profile, tool, listing, message, file, link, image, or other material you post, upload, or share (“Member Content”).
By posting Member Content, you represent and warrant that:
- you have all rights necessary to post it and to grant the permissions in these terms;
- it does not violate any law or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights; and
- posting it does not breach any partnership, employment, license, non-disclosure agreement (NDA), or confidentiality obligation that applies to you or the material.
AiBookmark is not responsible or liable for any partnership, NDA, or other confidentiality or contractual obligation that your post may touch, breach, or implicate. Whether you are permitted to post something is yourresponsibility to determine before you post it — not ours.
If posting your content causes harm to a tool, a third party, or anyone else, that responsibility and liability is yours, not AiBookmark's. This includes anything that happens to a tool as a result of it being posted, listed, uploaded, downloaded, or linked through the Service.
6. Open source first; closed source is your choice
AiBookmark is built for and around open source. That is our purpose and our default expectation for what members share.
If you choose to post, link, or share closed-source material instead, you do so at your own discretion and risk. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share it and for any license, ownership, or confidentiality terms that apply. The decision to post closed-source content — and the consequences of that decision — rest entirely with the member who posts it.
7. Downloads and links to external websites
AiBookmark contains links to, and information about, third-party tools, websites, downloads, and resources that we do not own or control.
When you follow a link or download a file, you are leaving AiBookmark's control and proceeding at your own risk. We do not screen, scan, endorse, or guarantee external sites or downloads, and we are not responsible or liablefor them — including for any virus, malware, data loss, damage, inaccurate information, or harm that results. Third-party sites have their own terms and privacy practices, which govern your use of them. Review them before you proceed.
(This section is presented again as a checkbox/confirmation at the point you download or open an external link.)
8. Communication between members
AiBookmark lets members communicate. We are not responsible for the conduct, statements, or content of any member, or for any interaction, transaction, or dispute between members. Treat other members, and anything they tell you, with the same caution you would on any public platform. Any dealings you have with other members are solely between you and them.
9. Prohibited conduct, and our right to remove content and act on accounts
You may not post anything, or use AiBookmark in any way, that is illegal, infringing, fraudulent, deceptive, malicious, or that violates the rights of others. This expressly includes military secrets, classified or export-controlled information, scientific or trade secrets, and any comparable restricted material. It also expressly includes:
- spam— unsolicited, repetitive, or bulk posting, messaging, or self-promotion;
- scams and fraud— deceptive, misleading, phishing, or financially fraudulent activity;
- impersonation— pretending to be another person, builder, brand, or AiBookmark itself; and
- bots and automated abuse — automated account creation, posting, or scraping, or any use of bots or scripts to manipulate, overload, or abuse the Service.
To protect the community, AiBookmark reserves the right — at its sole discretion, with or without notice — to:
- remove or disable any content;
- require additional verification or authentication from an account (for example, email or identity confirmation, or other anti-abuse checks) before further use;
- pause, restrict, or suspend an account; and
- close or permanently terminate any account,
for spamming, scamming, fraud, impersonation, bot or automated abuse, or any other violation of these terms or of applicable law. Any illegal content — including military or scientific secrets or anything of the sort — will be addressed and removed immediately upon discovery, and may be reported to the appropriate authorities. Exercising or declining to exercise any of these rights does not make AiBookmark the publisher of, or responsible for, member content.
10. Copyright and intellectual property (DMCA)
We respect intellectual property rights and expect members to do the same. If you believe content on AiBookmark infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent at [dmca@aibookmark.app — to be set up] with the information required by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). We will respond to valid notices by removing or disabling the material expeditiously, and we terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AiBookmark, and its owners, operators, and affiliates, will notbe liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service — whether based on warranty, contract, tort, statute, or any other legal theory, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations or exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you. In that case, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law allows.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AiBookmark and its owners, operators, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your Member Content; (b) your use of the Service; (c) your violation of these terms or of any law or third-party right; or (d) any partnership, NDA, license, or confidentiality obligation your activity on AiBookmark breaches or implicates.
13. Changes to these terms
These terms are a living document and are subject to change as AiBookmark builds out its security, features, and policies. When we make material changes:
- we will update the “Last updated” date and version number above;
- we will notify returning members with a pop-up the next time they visit, summarizing what changed; and
- where appropriate, we will ask you to re-accept the updated terms before continuing.
Continued use of AiBookmark after an update takes effect means you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree to an update, stop using the Service.
